Information from QuickBooks Online
If you authorize our platform to connect to your QuickBooks Online account via OAuth2, we access:
- Customer records (your company name, address, contact information as stored in QB)
- Invoice records (amounts, dates, payment status related to your account with us)
- Company information from your QB account
We access only the data necessary to manage your billing relationship. We do not access QB data belonging to other companies. We do not write to or modify your QuickBooks data. You may revoke this access at any time from the client portal or directly via your Intuit account settings.

- To send daily 8 AM incident report emails to designated contacts for your properties
- To process payments and manage your invoices
- To communicate about service status, incidents, and account updates
- To match your QuickBooks customer record to your portal account for accurate billing

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (emergency SMS), SendGrid (email delivery), cloud hosting providers — each bound by confidentiality agreements
- Intuit/QuickBooks: We exchange data with your QB account only under your authorization via OAuth2
- Law enforcement: Only when required by law, court order, or to protect safety
- Business transfers: If the company is sold, your information may transfer as a business asset; you will be notified
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Incident reports and patrol logs are retained for a minimum of 3 years for liability documentation purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us; some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure token storage for third-party integrations, and restricted access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
7. QuickBooks OAuth Tokens
OAuth access tokens issued by Intuit are stored server-side in an encrypted environment. We use these tokens only to read customer and invoice data relevant to your account. Tokens are never exposed to end-user browsers. You can revoke access at any time through:
- Our admin panel → QuickBooks → Disconnect
- Your Intuit account → Authorized Apps → Revoke access for "SW Security Services"

- Revoke QuickBooks access at any time
